Monarchs have arrived in the land of Milkweed and Honey! A single male was seen on Friday June 5 near Vantage in central WA and another individual was seen at Davenport WA on June 7. These locations are 70 and 116 miles north of the OR/WA border. Monarchs should arrive in BC within a week. In far N Oregon near Pendleton eggs have been found on Milkweed, so the females have wasted no time. And why should they, with sunshine and warm-hot temperatures prevailing….
