What’s the Buzz: The Importance of Pollinators

July 20, 9:30am-2pm

Protecting bees and butterflies in their native habitat

Please join Molbak’s and our community partners for this special day of presentations, practical tips and advice about what we can do to help protect bees, butterflies and other vital pollinators in their native habitat. 

9:30am – 2pm: Volunteers from the following organizations will be on hand to answer your questions and offer advice on how to nurture the safety and health of pollinators: National Wildlife Federation, SnoKing Beekeepers AssociationWashington Butterfly Association and Washington Native Plant Society.  

10am – 2pm:  DoJo Togo food truck serving fresh and flavorful Chino Latino cuisine.

10am:  “Butterflies and Garden Habitat” presentation with community wildlife habitat steward and master gardener, Julie O’Donald.

12pm: “How to Save the Bees” presentation with Crown Bees environmental programs educator, Demarus Tevuk Sandlin.
